We recently supported this event in Greenwich, deploying our trackway systems to provide stable, reliable access for vehicles and event infrastructure in one of London's most visited parks.
The Challenge
Events in London's historic parks require careful handling. Access for delivery vehicles must be managed without causing lasting damage to turf that is enjoyed by the public year-round. Add in the complexity of inner-city logistics — restricted delivery windows, weight-limited roads, and permit requirements — and the challenge becomes considerable.
Our Solution
GT Trax deployed PowerTrax trackway panels across the key vehicle access routes within the event footprint. The interlocking panels created a stable road surface capable of handling repeated passes from HGVs and event equipment, distributing loads evenly to protect the ground beneath.
Our crew worked efficiently within the logistical constraints of the Greenwich site, completing installation ahead of the event build programme and coordinating closely with the event's site management team.
The Result
The event infrastructure was delivered and installed without incident, and the trackway performed reliably throughout the build, event, and breakdown periods. The parkland was left in excellent condition following the uplift.
